Tamron 15-30 mm f2.8 VC, first version of the lens not the G2.
The auto focusing at the wide end 15mm is virtually impossible after the first third of the scene or less, the more you zoom in the better the auto focus gets within the scene, on live view it focuses anywhere at any focal length, but I prefer using the viewfinder for accuracy.
Is this a known fault or is it my camera body ? Nikon D750 and D800 do the same ....
Do I need to return it for replacement ? Not that old ...
