Just playing with my new Tamron SP 17-50 f2.8 vc and at 17mm I cant focus on far away things but have no problems at close distance. Am I doing something wrong or is it knackered?
Think I've sorted it... a little tweek of the AF fine tune has enabled me to focus to infinity at 17mm. Will wait until I get home tomorrow to set it up properly.
