im going to buy a tamron 17 50 in the next few days is the vc worth the extra money is the iq as good im looking at the non vc at the moment but if the vc it better i might wait a bit till ive got the money
looks like the non vc then as i will be buying it from onestop digital [best price i can find] and dont realy want to be sending a bad copy back thanks for all the input if any dody knows anywere i can get one cheaper £262 let us know thanks again
Got a mk2 version (not the screw-driven one for NAF) and it's awesome; as good as the Nikon version. Love mine to bits for magazine work - cost £160 off fleabay. Get one....![]()
I have (in the last 15 mins) received a Non VC version (canon fit) and it is superbly built, quite heavy but feels great in the hand. I'm at work so will have to wait to test it at home but i'm sure it will be spot on!
I went for the non VC version because of the problems people are having and also i thought it would be ok having f2.8 rather than VC.
