Tamron 28-75 2.8

Been offered a tamron 28-75 2.8 for £190, will be using it on my 5d mk2. The actual lens was brought new in feb this year so is not had much use, ive seen images from the lens and they look spot on, im just wondering if any of you guys have had any experience of this lens and what am i to expect from it if i buy, also would it be a good buy at the price ive been offered it for???
If anyone has any images from this lens you could show me i would be grateful.

I have this lens and use it on a Nkon D300 and D700. Cracking lens for the money, sharp enough wide open, tack sharp when stoped down a little. I guess the only thing is when light is very low ( such as 1st Dance) then it hunts a little for focus but overall a very good lens.

I have this lens too on my D700. I find it a little bit soft at f2.8 and tack sharp when stopped down a bit.

For the money you really can't go wrong.
