Can anyone tell me what the Tamron 28-75 f2 lens is like in low light conditions such as very dim lighting in a church

I got one recently and used it in a few weddings.

It is a nice sharp lens and great value. I've become a bit lazy with shutter speeds having an IS lens too so do have to remember to keep the speeds up on it when using it zoomed in.

Thanks for that been looking at 1 used but for a little extra can get 1 new so now getting tempted Just need to know about low light results

Got a dodgy copy, don't seem to be isolated in getting one either. Your results may vary. It's always been decent enough in low light though, same as with any 2.8 lens. If you're shooting people running about you'll need to be faster but it's fine otherwise.

But yeah, not a fan of Tamron really. Their quality control is really bad. If you get a good copy they're very good value, if not they're a huge huge pain.
