Tamron 70-200mm F2.8 SP Di

I'm looking at buying the Tamron 70-200mm F2.8 SP Di. Has anyone got this lens? And will it work on on the D3100 in the short term?

Works on APSC and FF, image quality overall is very good from what Ive seen, AF is a bit dodgy.

haha, £520 model. So the "cheap" old one.

I owned the older non VC model, very accurate but dog slow AF so got rid

Yep. VC owner here.

If you can sell an arm to help fund it, it's worth it!

No experience of the older model - was going to get it but needed good AF and VC.
