Anyone got/used one of these lenses? I'm Looking to get a Telephoto lens to add to my collection of lenses. Mostly want to use it for abit of everything(portraits,street,landscapes,some sports and wild life). I've been looking at Canon's 70-200mm f4 as I'm only budgeting around £500.
However i've came across the Tamron lens and it seem's interesting, more to the fact of the 2.8 aperture. The £600 price tag seem's appealing, my only gripe, is that it's a Tamron Lens. I have the cheap 70-300 that you get as part of a kit from jessops, its a Pentax fit,so it's constantly sitting on my Film Slr. I find the optic's okay, not brilliant. But i don't hear many positive things about their products and i don't really want to part with £600 of cash for a product i might not be happy with.
All i want to know is if people have the lens, how they find it and if they have photo's from the use of the lens.
