Hi I am have been setting my kit up on the cheap so I went out and bought a £90 Tamron LD DI lens and the motion on it is very clunky is that normal, by far the most jolty lens I have ever used
 
Has anyone else found this issue with this lens, may e I should have got the sigma APO
 
Not sure what you are talking about could you be a little more specific? Is it the AF that is hunting? The zoom ring sticking?

As my copy is plenty smooth for a super cheap lens.
 
Just seems that the movement is stiff fine movements are difficult as it isn't smooth maybe it's cos it's new
 
Just been to mess about with the lens again and it's only the zoom especially at full zoom it seems to tighten up very strange
