Hello there! I don't have this lens, however I can definitely tell you that its not the sharpest thing in the world and the AF is slow (tried one in the shop and a friend has one). I have heard many "so, so" reviews and personally I would be tempted to go for an older EF 75-300 or 70-300, which probably would not cost you much more.
The first two are very nice, and the 3rd one has nothing to do with the lens, and everything to do with the cameras AF setting and shutter speed (aka "user error")

The camera was set on continous AF, Spot AF Area and shutter priority 1/250 at f6.3.
I have shots at the same location which are sharper but at the same settings

I think I only can go to the price I could go with for the tamron, Im short on money at the moment, I dont even know if I can afford this one unless I can get it like 80 like u said.
