Last night we had an auction at our camera club where I brought a Tamron 80-210 CF Macro Adaptall 2 and adaptor tube (for £5) to use on my Nikon Film SLR and my D3100 I need to buy the adaptor ring to fit to the lens as the end caps say minolta. My questions is the adaptor rings I have found that are genuine Tamron say they are AI-E mount from what I understand this will fit the D3100 but just wanted someone more knowledgedabel then me to confirm this. I know the lens won't auto focus on my camera.
