Quick question for the owners of both - preferably R5 or R6:

Do your Tamron fast primes autofocus perfectly and fast on these new shiny cameras using outer points and wide open apertures?

I don’t own any Tamron Primes, but do own a Tamron 24-70 F2.8 G2 and a Tamron 100-400, both of them work perfectly on my R5, the eye tracking is smooth on both. I have been advised that some older lenses, like the Tamron SP 15-30 F2.8 (1st Gen), would be needed to be sent to a Tamron agent for a service upgrade, before it is fully compatible on the RF mount via adapter.
