Tarmon 17-50 Hood?

Hey guys,


Looking to pickup my frist D-SLR (canon) and lens and am currently about to order a Tarmon 17-50 non-vc from DigitalRevs.

But I'd like to get some protection in terms of a hood but am lost as to the size required and best value.

Any ideas as an official hood is £15 from Park Cameras and with ebay I'm not sure which cheap ones are worthwhile or even what will fit; screw, bayonet :shrug:

I believe the Tamron 17-50 F2.8 comes with a hood. My VC version did.

If not, then check out Ebay.

I bought a non-VC version a week or two ago and it came with a hood so you should be fine.

My non VC version came with a hood also. Cracking lens, you will enjoy it

Yup the lens hod is on it already when you buy it, its just turned upside down .
