I decided to have 3 days up at Tebay mast. As it turned out I only got 1 day due to the weather. Spent most of the other time in the bar at my accomodation..:D
It was nice to bump into Nick again and nice to meet Chris and John. (y)
Not a bad day all in all. A few Tonkas and a couple of Hawks.
All of these where taken with the 300mm and 2 x converter fitted. 600mm FF.

I must admit that when I first looked on these pages at this type of image, I was nonplussed, not really giving much thought into how, why, what it neeeded to take such a good shot.

The D3s certainly does you proud Kev.

Lovely Pics mate! next time your in the area let me know we could meet up!

Very nice Kev, the light improves dramatically after lunch as in shot no.4.
If its sunny next time I go I'm tempted with the other side for the morning.
Knowing my luck I'll be carparked whilst driving round .

Cheers Paul.

Excellent set. Whereabouts were these shot from?

You're right Paul. But It was thick fog when I set up pitch. Then rain, then cloud. Then just as the aircraft came out to play, harsh sunlight! :bang:
Would probably end up with underside shots from the other side?? Don't know. I kept looking at the road across from us, thinking that it may be worth a try.
It was bad enough only getting one day out of 3 as it was!! Good job I was staying in a nice pub. ;) :D
