How predictable are these things? If you were to just turn up on any given day would you see a good, regular selection of planes or is it purely pot luck? Could you spend all day up there and see bugger all?

Can be hours of waiting for 20-30 seconds of thrill, but when you do get something, it's like Christmas

Definately worth a trip, but be warned, you'll get hooked
