I'm sure they keep oil in those kettles, not tea! Helps make it pour a bit smoother if its warm.

It's Papplewick pumping station in Nottinghamshire.
It was one of the few days that everything is in steam so unfortunately the place was packed hence interesting shots of the flywheels and cylinders are more like shots of peoples backs. I'll have to go back when it's quiet.
The lighting is a mixture of daylight, flourescent, sodium, tungsten and arc lamps, a bloody nightmare for WB selection!
Oil in the kettle hey? That explains why the tea tasted so bad ;)
