Not sure if this is right forum......Mods please move if not

My Daughter has been selected for a photoshoot at Fairlight Studios in Kentish Town N.London by TeenQueenUK Pageant, in order to progress into the next round.

My question is does anybody have any experience or knowledge of these organisations ?

The Photoshoot is free but i imagine that we would have to pay for any prints or CD that we wanted.

As a tog i am interested in seeing a Pro studio setup, but as a father i am concerned for my 15yr old Daughter's wellbeing and that its not a big scam.
 
I know someone that has been a contestant for teenqueen previously (i think it was that, or something similar). But anyway, you get their photos done, they usually try and overcharge you for them if you want to buy any. And if she gets into the actual 'show' they do a regular catwalk with clothes, then a bikini one then they wear evening dresses for the announcment and they have to answer questions which are asked by some Zlister, then someone wins.
I dont know if you wanted to know all that lol, but heyho.

The photographs they take are very bland, nothing spectacular like a regular headshot really. If you want an idea of what the photographs will look like, google images will have some.

I had already done the googling and looked at their own website bit before posting here.
I think we will still go, could be a bit of experience for her being in a pro studio.

But make sure i leave my money and cards at home...:)
 
My neighbour had a 'free' photoshoot done & the prints were ridiculous prices. She refused to buy any & got phone call 2 months later offering them all on disc for 150 quid. They were low res & un-processed. Not sure if that would be the same you but just a heads up.
