Teether Cable for Nikon D90

Can I use the cable below to teether my D90 to my laptop and use LR5 to view pics as I take them:

Fairly sure that will work. It's pretty much the same cable I have for my d700. The 'proper' tether cables are probably just better cabling and brightly coloured but do the same.
