Teleconverter Lens For Canon EOS EF Lens

Another stupid question, but here goes.

I have a Canon 40d and a Canon EF 100mm f/2.0 USM Lens and thinking of adding a X2 Teleconverter.

Im i wasting my money? Advice please.

70-200mm f/4 is a much better plan, but you could try Kenko conveter (the best version, whichever one it is). Chances are it would look better with 1.4x but that's hardly any longer.

Canon EF 70-200mm f/4.0 L USM Lens is on my wish list, shame the wife has 3 piece suites on hers Dont know why im laughing, its not even funny


Seriously, one day for sure but for now i have two choices, either the cheap option Kenko Teleplus MC7 DGX 2x or not at all.

So, Anyone using a x2 converter with a Canon 100mm prime, and if so are you happy with results.
