Ok I know its never black and white with lenses but generally I'm trying to get an idea of the best lens in each level/price range (used).
It appears to go something like?
>£100 = Sigma 70-300mm APO
>£200 = Canon 55-250mm
>£300 = ?
>£400 = Sigma 70-200m 2.8 or Canon 70-200m F4L non IS
Not sure on the rest up from that, I guess the Sigma 120-300mm comes in somewhere as does the Canon 100-400 L and the 70-200m IS.
I'm basically looking to upgrade my Zoom, and unsure if I want to stretch to the Sigma 70-200 or Canon 70-200mm, I currently have a bottom of the ladder Sigma 70-300mm DG. Seems to be nothing around the £250 mark (used)?
Also as a second question, for Le Mans do you think a 70-200 would be enough, or would I really need something that runs to 300mm?
