Telephoto Use in a car (Safari)

Afternoon

Anyone got experience with tools for using a telephoto in a car when on Safari .... beanbags I guess although I did come across something called an Apex Bean Bag the other day .... any tips or tricks for shooting from a car much appreciated .... will use it more than just Safari (i.e. using my car as a a mobile hide) ...

pipe lagging works well for putting on top of the window
put a bean bag on top of the lagging and you have a pretty steady rest

also look up ergorest tripod i have one here but i found it a little awkward to use i preferred the pipe lagging and bean bag approach

Not used one, but I have a lens cover kit from these guys. Good kit and good service. They suggest the A shaped bean bag

Get a bean bag with a lanyard so u can tie it on. Unless you fancy getting out to fetch it!!
