Hi all.
I have got a d90 and 2 lenses: nikon 50, 1.8 and sigma 28mm 1.8.
Before I used to have a 350d and I had the same lenses plus a tamron 55-200.
The tamron didnt get much use as it looked much worse than either of the other lenses and it didnt really have enough reach for wildlife.
I have been thinking of getting something with a bit more reach for the D90 and have a budget of ~£350.
I have been looking at a second had 70-300 nikon or a 400mm hsm sigma prime.
Any thoughts about this choice?
the 400mm doesn't have vr so would this make it pretty much unusable for handheld shots ?
What is IQ of either of hese 2 lenses like in comparison to the 50mm ?
is there anything else I should be looking at this range ?
