tempa viewfinder magnifier

I have one fitted to my 7d, i mainly wanted it as an eyepiece extender. Its a quality piece of kit but i wasn't keen the field of view in the viewfinder so i ended up taking the magnifying lens out. Although im considering putting it back in at the moment and giving it another go.

Does the magnification badly affect the field of view? Does the actually viewfinder information, delivered by the camera, become unreadable?
 
Ive got one on my 400D and I love it. Makes the image fill the viewfinder and I just have to angle my eye a little to read the display under the image.

I'm using the version for spectacle wearers. It is great for macro and MF (I have a split screen focusing viewfinder too.)

Well worth the money. I bought from the same seller and it was delivered relatively quickly from China.
