your thoughts most welcome

test shot for sharpness, Focused on trellis work

this time on tripod using light meter settings

Nikon D810
Nikon afs-24-70mm
f10
ISO 640
1/60 sec
lens @ 55mm
focal distance 6.68 mtr

compared to original there is a huge quality loss via the internet. At a rough guess about 20%+ degradation in picture quality

Original RAW file size 74.5 MB is too large to send direct.
Light meter however is correct with information, so camera set to that

same photo but cropped first to show difference. No sharpening straight crop and posting. Used adobe Elements 14 for the crop and convert from RAW to Jpeg only

I can't get anywhere near as sharp on the photo above when zoomed in. That shows how much gets lost via internet. even this has lost sharpness to a degree

Try zooming in( click on photo) on the first picture and judge for yourself

I just use Adobe Elements 14 to alter from RAW to Jpeg and then Imgur to transfer onto web site. Not much help is it, sorry

You're posting images that are too large... and the backend here is brutal when it compresses an image to conform.
Size limits pulled from the help forum

1024 px on the longest side.
If its an attachment then also less than 500Kb

If it to your TP gallery its 1024px and less than 1Mb

If its from Flickr the 1024px still applies, but there is no restriction on the byte size.
