Tethered vs Wireless CF

Hi all,

We are having a few issues, using Olympus 510 and 520 cameras with a very unreliable connection socket, to shoot directly into laptops.

Anyone had this issue? if so what have you done to solve it?

The other consideration is to use a wireless cf card as a transmitter? again,can anyone recommend a wireless setup?

As a wireless setup, people rate the eye fi, plugged into a cf -> sd adapter, that has had the metal sides taken off. It's not perfect though, really wish eye fi would get their act together...
