Had the pleasure of meeting Barnsley's finest today for coffee and a bacon buttie. My, we know how to live up here!
We had a lovely walk round a local church with the idea of approaching a location that none of us was familiar with and looking to see what potential could be found for a wedding shoot. I'm still very green at wedding togging so it was a great opportunity for me to pick up on some of the things that more experienced togs see using their greater experience.
A wonderful older lady verger came over and was opening the church for the start of the Christmas festivities and very kindly let us go in and photograph the interior. I had a 35mm f1.4 that I've hired from Stewart on the 1Ds and I've come home with some cracking shots considering the light levels.
A huge thanks to two fabulous TP members for giving up a few hours of their Christmas Eve to help a fellow tog with a wedding to shoot on Sunday.
