I have noticed so many people in the media seem to be using this symbolism in their work and in a lot of photographic opportunities, anyone else noticed its use?

AOL, CBS, Time warner, Logitech, to name just a few but thankfully many more are not.

Probably it is to do with the fact either the companies are run by the members of the same society (free masons) or their logo designers were... Personally fake news reporting by some of these organisations is far greater concern. The three very worst offenders only have text in their logos.
