That’s the part I don’t get with Nikon. Why research and develop a fast F mount telephoto zoom that’s £9.5k? If that was a mirrorless mount they would be onto a winner because no one else has one. It’s not like sigma had already done this lens several years back
I can understand still developing DSLRs but not F mount lenses. Canon seem to be on the right track stopping EF Mount lens development and manufacturing to concentrate on mirrorless lenses.
If Nikon got their PF lens technology into some telephoto mirrorless lenses they would have a big advantage that may attract mirrorless wildlife photographers.
