My brother is considering buying one. Sent me a few pics of it today after his test drive. Amazing looking car.
People around the net seem to feel the need to justify their coverage of Sony camera products, Luminous Landscape had a justification article and now DPR is doing the same.
I do find this all a bit odd and I think maybe there's still a little resentment that this electronics company has the temerity to make photographic products.
I guess Sony is making big waves and naturally coverage will be higher.People around the net seem to feel the need to justify their coverage of Sony camera products, Luminous Landscape had a justification article and now DPR is doing the same.

They still behave like an electronics company
Like it or not I think it's electronics that'll drive photography forward, Sony have realised that and can you really prefer how Canon have acted? Year after year of new product with outdated technology from day one and minor almost to the point of being irrelevant "development."
Which is easy to say now but come back in 5-10 years time when their mirrorless designs have matured even further and they can't easily make big improvements on a regular schedule.
To clarify, I firmly believe in technology always improving but that doesn't mean a single company can always keep up with them.

I love my new DVD player
I used to fix Canon office equipment including photocopiers, some people thought the copiers were sh!t and at the time we were under orders to keep certain things from customers. Unsurprisingly I had a heated technical and moral discussion with management and thankfully I managed to walk out of that job PDQ, actually about a nano second before they sacked me.
we use konica minolta printers are work. They are pretty good.
I'm very happy not to work for a living now
Almost as good as native is a statement that gets thrown about a lot of the internet
And is also the same as saying ‘not as good as native’
Bah, saved up enough for a 35/1.4 CZ but my car need some TLC, minimum some brake pads, may need some new calipers.
New calipers, I doubt that. Disks and pads at most.
They were swapped out new 15months ago.
The calipers? How old is the car.... never seen knackered calipers even at 100k plus.
7yrs/40k
I’ve booked it in for Monday.
IME no chance its the calipers. Good luck though, get second opinions.
Sounds like someone is being ripped off! They were swapped out new 15months ago.
