What he wants is Sony innards with Fuji asthetics.Ah gotcha, was thinking 15 in a row, that'd be a little OTT!

If Sony can fit IBIS into A6500, they can do so in a X-T3 sized bodyI imagine many would love that! It would have to be XH1 body though, to keep the IBIS, not as cute as a T3 maybe

You used to have a D800e, really you don't say? Not sure you have ever mentioned that before.![]()

Needed the E as it had no AA filter to get the most out of those pound shop lenses.
Picked up this beauty for my A7III

It was the E, used to sleep with it an' allI knew you'd appear soon as it was mentioned. Last time you hit me with the 'council house' primes, lol, was funny enough for me to remember I'll give you that
If I did go for an A7RII at some point, which is a possibility, it'll be more council house primes like the Samyangs for a while at least.
Is that the one @LeeRatters has? If so I’m sure you’ll love it.
Forgive my lack of knowledge of MF primes.
Council house primes is an absolute classic. I'm pretty sure it originated from Gary Coyle on here.
It's very well made, has a f1.2 aperture and is rather good. All these things help to push the price up. Oh and the aperture can be declicked too.Voigtlander 40mm F1.2 Nokton E, looks a tasty lens - certainly not cheap for a MF lens though

I have one but I prefer the smaller 35mm f1.4 even though it's not as good. The 40mm is less characterful and sharper into the corners and gives a much more modern look.
I got one to go with my recently purchased A7iii. Wanted a more “manual” experience. Used it for the first time at the weekend and it is lovely to use.Voigtlander 40mm F1.2 Nokton E, looks a tasty lens - certainly not cheap for a MF lens though

No but when you see the results Lee posts, it looks like it’s worth every last penny
Really!? Damn, I liked Gary, had some good banter with him - was a real shame to hear he was gone![]()
Yeah man. Sad story, he was a real character on here
It is indeed. I also have the 21/3.5 too which is just as nice to use but obviously doesn't have the same rendering.
Thank youCertainly the 'best' lens I've ever owned. I didn't think anything would ever beat the 135L but......
EDIT - Ohh, it's also great for waterfall shotsWe spent two days in the Brecons, shot almost everything at 40mm

Can we stop mentioning 135mm. Thank you .![]()
What is there a 135mm coming!out?
Yep and apparently it's the sharpest lens ever. What is there a 135mm coming!out?
What’s a trollYeah it's weird when you hear that someone you only knew online has passed, you may not know them in person but feel like you knew them well enough to be sad about it. We clashed many a time way back on here, but oft teamed up, sometimes trolls uniteHe was a good dude in general.

It would take a while to explain to an oblivious one![]()
