A very windswept beach at Saltburn-by-the-Sea deserved a sweeping shot..... I quite like the effect, but what do you think?

Yup I'd agree that this would look great on a canvas since a textured medium would add to the effect that it was more like a painting than a photo

I've tried this on numerous occasions and I think you are underselling yourself. It is very hard to get it just right. And here you certainly have done so. I really like the image - the simplicity and colours speak for themselves. Well done.

Personally, I'm not sure about it. Sorry. I'm sure it is far better than I could ever achieve, but it's just not my "thing". :shrug:

Although I do agree that it should be on a big canvas hanging on the wall in an ultra modern office or hotel somewhere. It would work well there.

Nice, I think it would benefit from a boat on the horizon. Fairly easy to do in Photoshop and would give it a point for your eye to settle on
