The Bird

I saw that raven/crow/rook/blackbird (I'm only a meteorologist, not an ornithologist!) sitting on a nearby branch and thought "Ooo, that's got a certain something".

I will be honest and say that I have done a similar thing before, but I quite like this better due to it's processing style.
I know it's not at all very festive, but it does reflect my Dickensian Scrooge-like attitude towards the whole thing that is Christmas, though!

Oh, and I used a Lumix TZ8 for this shot.

Hi Richard and cheers for the positive comment! I'm not really the one for bird photography but you know how it is when it comes to photography opportunities. It was also a good way to hone my post-processing skills which never has been my strong point.
