Gyr x's tend to be white-ish, and not really

Fraid not Stu, they tend to have blue cere's (nostrils (and feet)
and are quite brown-ish ;) )

The reddish brown colouring I associate with Harris Hawks.

Woot!!! :D

Going for the double now - is he a Lanner cross?

Is

Is it a prarie falcon cross?
Getting warmer ;)

You don't cross long wings with broad wings, Martin.
( I don't even think that its possible)
that would be a total waste of time ;)

Is

Sorry put the prize back, nothing so common
Though I can see why you said that ;)

Merlin? NO!

The only other one I can think of with reddish brown is the Barbary x Peregrine.

I've never heard of that cross Fi,
(most of these X's are done through AI so I guess its possible)
Again it would a pointless cross though.
BTW That pink fluffy teddy bear that you picked?
well Martin finally got there so kindly pass it over

Barbary? with the reddish brown colouring.
Got there in the end Martin (y)

So Just to re-cap
1) Titch the male Harris Hawk
(still in baby cloths, you can tell that by the white flecks on the mail, that is chest feathers)

2) Onion the Spar that is female Sparrow hawk, the males are called "muskets"
She too is still in baby cloths, again, you can tell by the heart shaped patterns
on her mail, folklore has it that there are 147 of these and that represents the
amount of baby birds that died to bring her to fledging.

3) Mason the Pere x Barbary about 5 years old, and at a hunting weight of around 1lb 4oz
took to hunting rats, so he was retired off pit work, he kept ending up at the vets
for stitches ( hes a bit small to handle them)

You were gonna get that even if it killed you weren't you, Martin ?

I certainly was. I dont know why I put Merlin as I knew it wasn't a Merlin or a Hobby which I nearly followed up with.:wacky:

GIVE ME MY TEDDY!! :annoyed::dummy:

Fi you may keep the teddy bear, with my blessing.:)

Sorry but I have to disagree with that ID, that is definitely a Tawny Eagle and there I thought you knew your Birds of Prey :p:D

You say that but they do cross Peregrines with Merlin's
they are called "Perlins" (seriously) and they look rather like a tall skinny Peregrine.
I think they hunt skylarks mostly, with them ;)
