The Chase

No I like it - the blur leading into the detail. For me the figure would have been better being a bit bigger but perhaps they got away before you had that option :)
 
My eye is drawn back to the puddle, but I had a play (against the side of the monitor) and I liked it best as a square crop, removing some from the right hand side. It seemed to make the runner the subjet when I did that (for me). I don't know if that helps at all?
 
I liked it, it would be more effective if the runner was a lot closer though, but you get what you can in these situations.
 
I like it, taken a few in the concept myself and had similar critique about cropping, keep it as is, its all taste after all and we take pictures mainly for ourselves to enjoy unless your working of course :)
