"The City of York" steam excursion.

GWR 4-6-0 "Castle" class No. 5043 "Earl of Mount Edgcumbe" paid us Yorkshire heathens a visit on Saturday with this Tyseley to York special.

It was very overcast in the morning,

but brilliant for the return run in the evening.

Canon 40D + 28-70mm f/2.8L.

Beautiful loco and rake of coaches, far from home rails and not an overhead line in site.

I really like the first one, the setting is great, well chosen.
