Both very nice photos. I like the way #1 leads the eye into the 2 solitary figures on the beach. #2 is also a very attractive shot, and I really like those clouds, but the sky looks a tad too blue for the sea, so maybe I am wrong, but it does look as though it may have been added from another shot or just selectively saturated in Photoshop.
 
I agree with hill walking girl about the sky in the second shot...i love the first shot though!! Really great composition, nice fluffy clouds and just a lovely feel to the photo :)
 
The sky's are fantastic.
 
Both crackin' shots, I really like no2 but cant say why..........the sky does look a bit odd but otherwise really nice.
 
Ah if I was to be super-critical I can see where you 'Burned' the skies. Around where the sky meets the ground you can see the large brush you used to do this.

The skies are original lol.. used a circular polarizer then burned them deeper in photoshop...
Think I may have overdid it a bit. Oh and yes.. I did boost the blues.
