The Crocus

I quite like it, especially around the stem and base of the flower. I might try erasing the texture (or reducing the opacity) of the texture in some places so it's not so uniform across the image. :)
 
I think the texture works well on the petals, but I'm not so sure that it works on the stem as it seems a bit overwhelmed. Unless it was meant to be that way?
 
There you go Frank. Two completely opposing opinions, just to confuse you and highlight how subjective photography can be :)
 
thanks guys for you opinions i have done them in mono and still can't make up my mind but also i think a little less opacity will work i think the only way to find out ...is ...FIGHT .... Sorry got carried away there.. thanks again guys ..
