OK - finally got to it.
First things first, if anyone wants the orginal RAW's or TIFFs to review PM your email and i'll use yousendit.com to distribute.
Right, the synopsis: ISO 50 is perfectly useable BUT produces a softer picture than ISO 100. The dynamic range n the 1Ds mk2 is greater and better than the 5D. The file sze of the 1Ds mk2 still blows me away. Dynamic range seems to increase from ISO 50 to ISO 400 then peters out with quality in general. ISO 3200 is useable at a push for small prints. I think the highlight control on the 5D is better..... but my eyes hurt now!
A test really needs to be conducted in low light, but i cant be arsed to go through all this again so will leave it to someone else
The pics (5d on the left in all cases, inc crops)
1. ISO 50
2. ISO 100
3. ISO 400
4. ISO 800
5. ISO 1600
6. ISO 3200
