Makes no difference whether it's on or off, when the lens powers up the OIS goes mental then the error comes up. Wouldn't have minded if I could still use it minus OIS for Cornwall but noooo, it has to be awkward.
Hmm, my 18-55mm seems to have taken offence at spending most of the time on the shelf and has broken itself. OIS appears to have failed, all I get not is 'Lens Control Error' whenever I fit the lens. Looks like I'm going to be without it for my Cornwall trip in a couple of weeks.

I also have another cashback for £200 pending for the purchase of two lenses a week or so later, I hope I get it.
Has anybody received cashback from them?
Pretty cool so much is still done by hand/eye.
Featuring the craftsmanship of FUJINON Lens, the lenses are hand-made in Japan.
Still no sign of the mythical replacement eyecup?
I ordered mine from Amazon, mid August. Just had another email from them saying they are still waiting for delivery from manufacturers. Has anybody got one yet?Still no sign of the mythical replacement eyecup?

Ordered my X-T1 and 18-55mm and it will be here tomorrow.
A question about adaptors. I'm thinking it would be nice to sometimes use older manual focus lenses but I'm not sure what adaptors are available. I have a nice Olympus 75-150mm and an M42 80-200mm which I wouldn't mind trying but can you get adaptors for Leica M fitting lenses or Nikon?
Cheers
Andy
Check Ebay, there are adapters for pretty much any lens ever made.
I got one of these a few months ago and it does the job fineExcellent, I thought there might be. Any suggestions as to good makes or ones to be avoided.
Any suggestions for spare batteries? I think I am going to need a few.

I know this sounds utterly ridiculous, but this thread and the other Fuji threads somehow seem much more friendly than most of the others I've posted on.
The business section is brutal, and don't get me started on lighting
Fuji shooters must be just less arse-hole-like

Has anyone ordered an XT1 from fuji refurb recently? Did it have the new or old style directional pad?
It's a toss up between refurb or grey
