What would be a respectable price to pay for a used xt1 plus 18-55 in excellent condition?
My clicky "buy" finger is getting very itchy indeed![]()
I'd say £550-600 for the XT1 and £180-200 for the 18-55mm

I'm quizmaster.
Manual focus did 10000 according to my screen. Last post on page 250 sounds about right.
Some say we just talk drivel. What on earth do they mean?

Cheers baz!
440-500 and 130-150 imo
Stuart I have PM'd you a deal which might be worth considering.
(not an offer of a private sale!)
That would be rock bottom prices though, surely? The estimates quoted earlier ade more in line with the classifieds here.
The deals I have seen so far for boxed used in mint condition have all been sub £800

Chris just sold his pretty much brand new uk xt1 for 530 quid delivered. If that were grey he'd be looking at 480-500. If it were grey without warranty itd be 440 - 450. Ebay averaging 500-520 take off 13% for fees and 15 quid for rmsd.... what do you get. 600 for a used xt1.... no chance.... not anywhere, unless the buyer has no sense.
Thanks Rick - after further 'discussion' it transpires that is what he was doing, just not explaining it very clearlyRaw is as suggested, raw
But, in Lightroom you can go into the development module and scroll down to camera calibration and re-apply the film simulation as you see fit. Then just sync all your image settings and you are done.
If that's the case then they've dropped drastically in the last month.
It is the case. Cashback and upcoming model rumors make current models worth.... less. Pretty simple.
Do some homework, latest sale was 530, why look at a month old sale... I also posted eBay stats for a good average.
A new uk xt1 was only 650 a week ago.
Do some homework? I'll pass actually as you obviously have spent hours pouring over information on behalf of the guy asking the original question. I've also not seen any 'upcoming model rumours' so I didn't factor that into my equation. I simply tried to answer someone's question based on what I'd seen. You can climb down from the high horse now.

Not quite. I wouldn't waste my time... I was interested in my own purchase and watch the market, so could make an informed post.
I replied to manualfocus and you replied to me... It's a discussion... the point of a forum. High horse, lol, don't be silly baz.
Care to share as the cheapest new UK XT1 I can see is £805 on wex

The assumption is current prices as he asked now, not when "you" are selling yours. You can value yours at whatever price you feel but it doesn't make it worth that in the CURRENT market. It is a discussion or you wouldn't keep replying, if you don't like a reply why bother continuing the discussion.Didn't feel like a 'discussion' to me when somebody is as condescending as many times as you were in one response. The market for second hand camera equipment is also based on supply, demand and time of the month amongst other market factors you mention. What sells for £530 at the end of a month when a few people are selling could easily sell for £580 at the start of the month after people have been paid and there are few available...
Basically, to the original poster, The XT-1 and 18-55 second hand is worth what you are willing to pay for it at the time you want it. I still stick by my original valuations and I certainly wouldn't sell mine for any less than the lower end of each scale.
