Saw it last night and was distinctly underwhelmed. Too much cloud tonight. Won't be staying up waiting for clear skies.

Nothing wrong with a Volvo.. although all I ever see is old men driving them... which one did you go for?
@G.K.Jnr. did you shoot the Brazilian GP at the weekend? I bet that would have been a good test for the X-T2's weather sealing![]()
Nothing sinister George, just got REALLY busy - sold the Mercedes which has been bankrupting me, bought a Volvo, bought a pipe and slippers [emoji38], work went crazy, and I'm having the front room insulated and plastered. All of my camera gear is in a cabinet which I've dust proofed with a roll of masking tape [emoji3]
The XC90 - it's a bus, but a very comfortable one. I bought it from my mates brother, who's a multi millionaire banker [emoji849]. I've got a bit of a thing for Volvo's - I ran ex police volvo's for the first 5 years of my driving career [emoji3]
Got a lucky break in the cloud tonight. They look good on the camera's LCD, just hope they do when I look at them on the computer tomorrowHas anyone seen the moon tonight yet? Disaster! Tried last night as well but there was still too much cloud to get a sharp shot. Looking through the EVF it looked OOF most of the time until parts of the cloud passed, revealing the real detail.
Anyway, here's one of the best of a bad bunch. Shot with the Canon FD 300/2.8L + 2x TC

Good. Sadly it is very cloudy where I am. Was looking forward to seeing it [emoji34]Has anyone seen the moon tonight yet? Disaster! There was more chance of finding an unsold X-T2 in a shop window than a gap in the cloud last night![]()
London's super moon (given a little help) by Ian, on FlickrWhy notI saw the forecast so went to the south bank the day before, along with half the photographers in London, by the look of it. The moon didn't look much bigger to me once it had got to a decent height but was extremely bright. I figured that if I was going to have to PP the shot, I might as well go a bit overboard

No.Can I post them in here though with them being taken with a Nikon![]()
Agreed. Moon just looks to have been dropped in. Just my opinion, which may be way off the mark.Lovely shot, minus the moon![]()
I've spent a bit of time messing around with the alternative software for the Spider4Express and you're right, it's not at all intuitive. I'm still not convinced it's actually made a difference in a good way. One thing to watch out for is that you absolutely should not have the spider 4 software installed when running the calibration with the free software -to do the calibration it changes the monitor settings, then the spider software notices and switches them back, then it takes a measurement, notices there's something wrong and tries again. It ended up with a 6 hour calibration (in express mode) that gave a horrific final colour setting! No. Or not that I've noticed. The Spyder4Express instructions just say to adjust your monitor brightness to a level you find comfortable. I think I've been trying to get it lower to make the difference with prints less pronounced. I seem to remember reading that there's some more sophisticated software available for free that can use the Spyder 4 sensor, although it's reputed to have quite a learning curve. Maybe I should look into it.

Do itI know it's been done to death, but if I was really happy with the X-T10 once upon a time, can I live with a couple of them knowing the X-T2 goodness that exists. I can't decide whether I should just go for it and upgrade.
I survived perfectly well without dual memory card slots, a nice grip with 2 batteries, 24MP and better AF prior to my D750, but now that they exist in Fuji land...I think I want them (particularly as a wedding shooter).
Do it
I didn't get a kit lens. You still with xt2 and kit lens. You expanded your kit yet?
The technical term for your discomfort is GAS, it's very contagious, generally caught loitering in dives like thisI know it's been done to death, but if I was really happy with the X-T10 once upon a time, can I live with a couple of them knowing the X-T2 goodness that exists. Every part of me wants to just comment about you vapingCheers, I used to love doing stuff like that, messing about with remote shutters etc, used the mobile app on that one to shoot 2 seconds, and trial end error then to get the expressions I wanted![]()
