Have you checked where the red and blue are pointing in WB?Recently noticed that the auto white balance, for outdoor shots, on my xt5 is throwing a pinkish tinge when imported.
Anyone else and is it time I purchased a gray card?

Bang in the middle of the grid but good thinking.Have you checked where the red and blue are pointing in WB?
When I was messing with jpeg, I noticed it didn't change when I went back to raw.
No not moved of centre I am afraidMy Xt5 did this a little while back. The point on the custom white balance (if that's what it is called) had moved way off centre, resulting in everything looking very magenta. Freaked me out. Not sure how it happened - a glitch or my fat fingers pressing buttons by mistake....
Hmm I assume you've tried different lenses etc. No filters?Bang in the middle of the grid but good thinking.

Also, the same on both calibrated monitors and in both Cap one and DXO.
Well I can't think of anything else to try, other than purposely shifting the WB just to see if it makes a difference?Sure have both fuji lenses

Interesting article, thank you.This might help for the short term...

Five Fujifilm X-T5 AI AWB Workarounds
Yesterday I stated that I don’t like the inconsistent results from the new AI Auto White Balance found on the Fujifilm X-T5 and the other X-Trans V cameras. This isn’t a problem for mos…fujixweekly.com

Thanks for that P.
Yes, I’m still learning the D700, need to organise a few more lenses for it over time.
It’s built/made like a Sherman Tank - quite chunky feel to it..!
Cheers.
Pete
Probably my biggest regret, chopping mine in for a D750 (which I hated).My favourite out of all the cameras I've owned. I still look at the files in LR and think Wow!
Looks great! How's the build quality and AF performance? If you've had a TTArtisan 28mm pancake before; would love to know how they compareFirst couple of grab shots from this morning using the new Viltrox 28mm pancake lens;

Yes, I own the TT-Artisan 17mm (around 25mm equivalent), although I’ve not used it much if I’m honest, but am going to rectify that soon….love the way it renders.Looks great! The only reason I sold it was that due to age it became too heavy for my wrists. I sold it to a friend who is still using it.Mine arrived today. I've been on back to back Teams calls pretty much all day, so I've not really had a chance to check it out properly; but as Peter @macvisual said, it looks very nicely made. I've had the TTArtisan 27mm F/2.8 as well in the past, and I'd say that the autofocus is about the same speed, but a lot quieter.First couple of grab shots from this morning using the new Viltrox 28mm pancake lens;

It really is amazingly small though: here it is on my X-T4 (which has a Smallrig grip on it).

Well, I got £90 for my TTA lens and the Viltrox is only £82 on the Pergear site at the moment... #justsayinHmmm, that viltrox 28 f4.5 is tempting as I have a trip to Bulgaria with work next month.. but I already have the TTA f2.8![]()

Nice set, KerryHad a wander round Chelmsford yesterday with some friends from a camera group. Had a chance to play with the Viltrox 28mm. Like it a lot: it's fun to shoot with, the autofocus feels really fast, and it's nice and sharp. All in all I'm very pleased with it. Apart from a bit of straightening and cropping these are pretty much SOOC.

Nice set, KerryLooks like a little bargain.
Yeah it looks impressive. I think I’m going to get one and flip the TTartisan; if I’m honest I never liked how it handled and I always thought about upgrading to the Fuji one; but the size of the Viltrox is too good to pass upThanks Paul. It really is a bargain; £80 now, from the Pergear website. I guess it's the exchange rate, but it's getting gradually cheaper: Peter @macvisual paid £82, I paid £81. Hold your nerve long enough and you'll get it for a fiver or so!![]()
If ordering from pergear and in no rush it's worth adding the lens to basket and filling out the delivery details including email and then exit the site, The next day you will receive an email saying you "forgot" something and giving a code for 5% off. If you are really tight like me follow the link back to basket and apply the code then exit again. The next day the code offered will be for 6% offEvery little helps as they say. Not sure if it's worth waiting any longer but that's the point I completed my purchase.
