The Farne Islands (june 15)

Hi everyone

Managed to get a trip up to the Farne Islands last month. Super early drive from Manchester, a day on and off islands then back home made it a long day but well worth it. I was blessed with great weather and light which made it all the more lovely!

200 miles is a long way to go to get photographs but you got some cracking shots.

Add in the return trip home as well and it must have been a long day.

'Twas a very long day. Only just made it in time, the boat had to turn back for us. Those A and B roads are a killer when you get behind a lorry or two. So quite stressful.
The journey home was much more relaxed!

Thinking if doing an overnight in skomer island next year
