Hi All,

I am off on a short break tomorrow and I have been reliably informed that near where I will be staying is a river where salmon can be viewed jumping up stream

I am just wondering if anyone could give some guidance on settings for my camera that will allow me to get some good shots of the salmon jumping.

Thanks in advance.

Take care, Keith

get it at least 1/500, prob what I use for capturing freeze moment foota shots. Saying that, I've no idea how fast fish can move :P

Personally, as the water is bound to be reasonably white where your shooting I'd go manual, take a few test shots of the area and get the exposure just right then you want as fast as you can get to freeze the action.
