The Fly's Breakfast

Messing about with the extension tubes and got one in focus.

No flash but I'm going to try one next time to increase the DOF and/or speed.

Any tips? What advantages would a dedicated macro lens give?

The ground looks like a but like grass so it makes the fly look massive - I like it. Nice vibrant colours and good DoF.

Not sure you need to improve the DOF for this; looks good to me. I would be pleased with it.
