Sorry to resurrect this old chestnut - but interesting to read Pearce's comments on the BBC website about his almost...........total reluctance to have Beckham involved at any level.
For a guy whose claim to fame is appearing in a "Pizza Hut' advert about missing a penalty - does this not seem a bit paranoid.........or am I being unfair or perhaps simplistic :shrug:
If team GB foopboll, (incidentally with no Scots or NI members), are to win, surely they need all the help they can get.

Mind you if the Spanish have entered a team and they play with any of the passion and belief that the senior team did last night - perhaps we just needn't bother turning up
