Never tried this kind of shot before. i couldn't quite get enough splash around the glass but overall i don't think it went to badly. Any comments, C&C welcome

You've not done bad at all but to me there is one main issue and that is I just don't think that this type of photo works against a black background you loose to much of the image to the background, moving past that you might want to use a coloured liquid to help it show up considering you've s plain clear glass and a clear liquid, when I've done photos like this in the past I've experimented with back lighting through paper to avoid unsightly reflections in the glass...as a final composition point it would have been good to have the stem of the glass coming directly out of the corner of frame
