Just thought i'd share this with you. Although the original was under exposed I processed in RS saving with different exposures and layered together, I did darken the end pic probably a little to much, Considering the dark nights of May and being 9:40pm I think this is a good result from one original photo.

I'm confused as to what you did to lighten the photo? Were you shooting in RAW?

Yes shot in raw and processed in Rawshooter (free prog) with different exposure values.

Ahh you processed the same shot more than once. EG, one with, say an EV of +3 for the cows, and saved a second one of the same shot with an EV of -1 or something for the horizon.

I get you now, nice....Seems to have worked well.

Yeh, but processed about 4 with -1 increments of exposure. Just trying to get to grips with processing. Not perfect I know but it's fun.
