The Great Ridge

Up early on Saturday and up to Mam Tor for sunrise. It was really foggy but the exercise was good for me (the wife told me )

Sunrise came and went - hidden by the fog. Its a good job that I am a lazy fat git as I decided to hang around for a few hours and see if the fog would lift.

I was rewarded by the sun finally breaking through and the inversion on both sides of the ridge entertaining me for over an hour.

Sometimes laziness pays off
