Beginner The journey

My stages...

1. For the first 10 years or so I shot with a camera that had two settings, sunny and cloudy.
2. I bought an SLR with a zoom! A Zoom??? oh er... frightening! but such possibilities!
3. I went digital and got frustrated with a lethargic Fuji Finepix S602.
4. I bought a DSLR and wondered why 28mm wasn't remotely wide anymore (there weren't any FF DSLR's in those days) and I shot just as I did with film, I set the ISO speed to either 100, 400, 800 or 1600 and just left it there all day.
5. I realised I didn't have to use my DSLR as if it was an SLR.
6. I bought a FF DSLR.
7. I got sick of my DSLR and lenses being much bigger and heavier than a 35mm film set up.
8. I went mirrorless.
9. I bought lots of old lenses.
10. I bought a FF mirrorless.
11. I bought some AF lenses.
The End (I hope.)

Thanks for the entertaining article:)! I'm a fan of the DPS website in general - good tutorials.

@woof woof - very amusing;)!

That made me smile, love the tongue in cheek view and I can definitely relate and chuckle at some :D

I guess we've all experienced most of that Dominic, very amusing and thanks for the link.(y)

George.

dps do a good job in tutorials, easy to understand and non patronising.
I have them pop-up on my Facebook feed and i tend to read the articles of the most interest.

Yes, me too:agree::)!

I seem to be in a constant state of number 6 with a mix of 11 :LOL:
