I've been meaning to do this for a very long time. They are utterly spectacular and if you haven't been go, just go first thing in the morning before lots of people arrive. - they are popular to visit, for a reason. The lighting changes colour which only adds to the fun.

Great set of images Steve, for me they are probably the best shots I've seen of The Kelpies.(y)

#2 for me, but all very good. I thought power lines were an issue at this venue, or have you painstakingly cloned them out of the wide shots?

No cloning other than lots of sensor dirt removal. 1,4,5,6 composed to cut them off entirely. 2,3, you can see them but the low light hides them well
 
They're all fine shots Steve, but the red heads really suit them well, especially the expression of the left one in the close-up shot!
